Golf tourism’s showpiece event is to head for Ayrshire.
The industry’s biggest names will converge for the Elevate Golf networking event in 2027.
Reserved for the sport’s elite, the event sees the finest golf courses, resorts and accommodation providers connect with top international tour operators.
Taking place from October 24-29, 2027, Elevate Golf will be held in two stages with the first half of the six-day event taking place in Ayrshire.
A carefully selected pool of the best golf tour operators from across the globe will be hosted at Trump Turnberry, experiencing the hotel’s premium hospitality.
As well as being able to play golf on the iconic Ailsa course, delegates will also have the opportunity to explore Ayrshire further with golf available at Royal Troon, Prestwick, Dundonald Links and Western Gailes.
The second half of the 2027 event will take place at St Andrews for pre-scheduled meeting appointments, curated networking experiences and more world class golf.
The popularity of last year’s inaugural Elevate Golf event has enabled organisers to secure host venues for the next three editions. Elevate Golf 2025 will begin in Liverpool while Northern Ireland will welcome the event for the first time in 2026.
Leanne Thorpe, director of Elevate Golf, said: “Elevate Golf is fast becoming a must-attend event with demand to be involved highlighted no more so than by such world-class hosts secured for the next three editions.
“When it comes to outstanding golf destinations, few locations compare to Ayrshire. We are looking forward to kicking off Elevate Golf 2027 in the region, showcasing fantastic hospitality and outstanding links courses to golf’s leading tour operators.”
Having previously welcomed international tour operators ahead of Elevate Golf 2024, the team at Trump Turnberry are once again looking forward to playing host.
Nic Oldham, general manager of Trump Turnberry, said: “We are delighted to be able to play a key part in Elevate Golf 2027, not only as a host venue, but as advocates for the region of Ayrshire.
“The event is one we see great value in and presents a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our hospitality and golf to the world’s very best tour operators.”
