Another Xbox First-Party Title Overtakes Halo: MCC For Most Gamerscore

For a good while now, Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been the Xbox game with the most achievement score – amounting to 7,000 Gamerscore overall. Sure, the fact that the 343 title is a collection of games does feel like cheating a little bit, but it’s still been top of the cheevo pile – until this week that is.

We’ve been reliably informed by the folks over at Bethesda (via TrueAchievements) that… ready for it… The Elder Scrolls Online is now the Xbox game with the most overall Gamerscore. The game’s recent Feast of Shadows update has pushed the team’s MMO to 7,095 Gamerscore – and it’ll likely climb even higher than that with subsequent updates.

“Some fun trivia […] with this update, The Elder Scrolls Online now has the highest Xbox Gamerscore on the platform, surpassing Halo: The Master Chief Collection.”

Of course, actually earning these sorts of Gamerscore numbers in either Xbox title would take some significant doing. Halo: MCC has multiple full games to tackle — featuring some hard-to-earn cheevos — while Bethesda’s MMO has always been a massive time sink, whichever way you look at it. Still, these are now the top dogs of Xbox achievement scores!

As for this ESO DLC specifically, Feast of Shadows adds new dungeons to the ever-evolving title, bringing along with it the extra 130 Gamerscore that pushes the MMO to the top of the pile.
