Party Boss broke his maiden in good style when last produced in an Albury maiden and had finished second as favourite at Wagga on the Riverside track before that. He is a gelding by Golden Slipper-winning stallion Farnan.
Newyork Missile scored a win on the Wagga Riverside two starts ago when McDougall was in the saddle and comes into Sunday’s event on the back of a last start second at Narrandera when apprentice Glenn Cahill took the ride.
McDougall rounds out his commitments at Gundagai when partnering Little Basheba for trainer Garry Worsnop in the Gary Readford Memorial Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap (1400m).
Little Basheba was back in winning form when scoring a last-start win at Corowa when charging home late from back in the field to score at big odds.
