Hawks beat Durham by 26 runs to set up Semi-Final clash with Northamptonshire Steelbacks at Edgbaston

Hampshire Hawks have booked their place at T20 Finals Day 2025 with a 26-run victory away at Durham in tonight’s Quarter-Final clash. The win sees the Hawks extend their remarkable record to 11 Finals Day appearances – more than any other county.
Quarter-Final Victory
Batting first, the Hawks posted an imposing 221-8 thanks to standout performances throughout the order: Toby Albert (68), Chris Lynn (51), Hilton Cartwright (61).
With runs on the board, the bowlers held their nerve to secure a memorable victory. Benny Howell (2-28) led the attack, while Chris Wood (1-30) and James Fuller (1-17) also played their part in restricting Durham and sealing a 26-run win.
The result means Hampshire Hawks will travel to Edgbaston on Saturday 13 September to compete for the coveted Vitality Blast title, where they will face Northamptonshire Steelbacks in the second Semi-Final of the day.
