EXCLUSIVE: While her Apple TV+ thriller series The Savant doesn’t premiere for another couple of weeks, Oscar winner Jessica Chastain looks to have found her next mystery to solve. Sources tell Deadline that Chastain, Oscar-nominee John Hawkes and country singer Carter Faith are set to lead the Netflix mystery thriller Heartland, with Shana Feste directing. The film follows Misty Jones (Chastain), a former country star who comes out of seclusion to investigate the disappearance of her missing niece (Faith), herself a rising country musician. Tracey Cook will exec produce for Chernin Entertainment with Jeff Valeri.
