The frontman of The Answer has said it’s a “huge honour” to be asked to recreate Led Zeppelin’s 1971 Ulster Hall concert as part of a series of gigs celebrating Northern Ireland’s musical heritage.

Cormac Neeson, who was inspired to become a musician by the British blues-rock band, said the gig, staged more than 50 years ago, had gone down in history as a cultural moment because it was the first time Led Zeppelin performed Stairway to Heaven live.
