Sam Thompson enjoyed another reunion with his ex Samie Elishi on Wednesday as they snuck out for a cigarette during the National Television Awards.
In June, the Daily Mail revealed the pair had ended their two-month romance after things ‘fizzled out’ between them – Sam was later linked to American holistic nutritionist Steph Robinson.
Yet things have remained amicable between the exes, with the duo enjoying a reunion at a party last month.
This week, the pair came together yet again for the biggest night in British television, with Sam, 33, having hosted the red carpet, while Samie, 25, was representing Love Island – which was nominated in the reality TV category.
The duo looked in good spirits as they enjoyed a chat in the smoking area before leaving, having seemingly skipped the official afterparty.
It marks the second cosy interaction between the pair in a matter of weeks.

Last month, footage obtained by the Daily Mail saw Sam and Samie chatting away at the Rehab’s Rooftop Spa launch party alongside his former Made In Chelsea co-star Lucy Watson.
A source revealed: ‘Sam was in good spirits as he caught up with Samie at the rehab event. They were queuing for drinks and they were chatting away.
‘He gently stroked her arm to make sure she had a drink and the pair were laughing away with Lucy Watson and her partner.
‘Samie was never far away from Sam during the party where Mel C performed an incredible set and everyone was dancing.
‘Sam and Samie chatted away to other guests but kept making their way back to one another before eventually leaving at the same time.’
The couple started dating in April and were later spotted passionately kissing after attending Olivia Attwood‘s birthday party.
It was Sam’s first public relationship since his separation from girlfriend of five years Zara McDermott, who is now with former One Direction singer, Louis Tomlinson.
He is now believed to be dating American influencer Steph, who shares expert tips on wellness, gut health and nutrition with her 170K following on TikTok.

A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Sam and Steph have been on a date and are getting to know each other.
‘They connected through a mutual friend and didn’t waste any time to meet in person, especially given Steph isn’t always in town.
‘Steph travels a lot for her work as a content creator but is currently spending an extended period in London and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
‘Sam is definitely having fun as a single man, going out when he isn’t working, and spreading his wings.’
Reports of his new romance came just two weeks after the breakdown of his relationship with Samie – which reportedly came to an end because of their busy work schedules.
A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Sam and Samie’s romance just fizzled out, there was so much attraction between them initially, but their busy schedules made it difficult for them to spend quality time together.
‘For Sam, it was his first relationship since his split from Zara and the feeling is he would rather concentrate on work before getting into another long-term commitment.’

In July, Sam admitted that he is ‘not ready’ to date again, telling pal Pete on his podcast Staying Relevant: ‘Louise thinks I should go out with Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in Harry Potter‘.
Laughing, Pete replied: ‘I think you have more chance with the ginger fella’.
‘Ron! No, Louise thinks I should go for British thespian because she thinks its a little different, classy is the wrong word, but well to do’, Sam added.
Pete joked: ‘Opposites attract, she wants you to go out with someone opposite to even you out.’
Confirming he won’t be dating for a while, Sam bluntly confirmed: ‘No, I’m going to work on myself. No dating, I’m not ready and I’ve realised that’.
The Daily Mail revealed Sam and Zara split following five years together on New Year’s Day after the couple spent the festive season apart.
Zara had grown especially close to her ex-boyfriend’s family given Louise, her fiancé Ryan and son Leo, three, live next door to Sam in west London.
The former Love Island star turned documentary maker was first spotted with singer Louis in March and the couple have since holidayed together in Los Angeles and Costa Rica.
