Dianne Buswell has seemingly confirmed her immediate Strictly Come Dancing future after announcing she is pregnant with her first child.
The professional dancer is continuing her big year after winning the hit BBC One dance show last year, alongside comedian Chris McCausland.
With days to go until the new series gets underway, Dianne and her boyfriend Joe Sugg confirmed the news they are to become parents in a brilliant social media video on Sunday (September 14).
Taking to Instagram, the couple, who met on Strictly in 2018 when they were paired together and made it to the final, could be seen in a clip standing behind a wooden easel and paint, with the clip set to the Elton John track, Tiny Dancer.
The playful clip then sees the couple painting, before the turn the canvas around to reveal three stick figures – one of Dianne, one of Joe and a baby in the middle of them.
Alongside the post, originally shared by Joe, he wrote: “Our little baby boy [heart emoji]. We cannot wait to meet you.”
The congratulatory messages soon came flooding in, many from Dianne’s Strictly co-stars both past and present. Amy Dowden said: “Still screaming, dancing and celebrating! So so happy for you both! Magical. Auntie Ames can’t wait.”
Nadiya Bychkova replied: “Awww. Congratulations guys. What wonderful news.” Johannes Radebe echoed: “Congratulations darling, wonderful news.” Gorka Marquez posted: “Oh this is the best news!!! BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH.”
Nikita Kuzmin replied: “Best news ever!!! Omg congratulations that’s just freaking awesome!!!” New co-star Alexis Warr shared: “Oh my gosh. How exciting! Congratulations!!!!!” Michelle Tsiakkas posted: “Best news ever!!! I can’t wait to meet your beautiful boy and become an auntieeee.”

Former Strictly winner Stacey Dooley also cried: “YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES.” Head judge Shirley Ballas added: “Ahhhh congratulations to you both @diannebuswell @joe_sugg. Such beautiful news.”
But it was in response to fans’ comments following Vito Coppola’s message that Dianne seemingly confirmed there would be no change to her role on the upcoming run of Strictly, which kicks off with the pre-recorded launch show on Saturday (September 20).
The Italian dancer, who toured the country with Dianne in their first joint-headline tour earlier this year, gushed: “THIS IS BELLISSIMOOOOO
“The First Strictly Baby. Cannot wait to meet him and I promise to be the best crazy Italian uncle. Congratulation guuuuuuuys I am so so soooo happy for you.”
Many fans were quick to point out there were already a number of Strictly babies, but Dianne was quick to defend her pal, as the mum-to-be said: “He means actually dancing on the show at the same time!”
She also said in response to a message which suggested she’d now longer be competing in Strictly this year: “[laughing emoji] why would I not?”
Dianne also shared a selfie to her Instagram Story on Monday morning (September 15) and excitedly shared: “Rehearsal day numer 1!” meaning she was off to star rehearsing with her new celebrity partner.
