Premiering this weekend at Fantastic Fest is Lowlife and V/H/S/94 director Ryan Prows’ vampire cop thriller Night Patrol, and a new teaser poster has arrived this morning along with a release date.

After making its debut on September 19 at Fantastic Fest, Night Patrol heads to Beyond Fest on September 28 before releasing in theaters on January 16, 2026.

In the film, “An LAPD officer must put aside his differences with the area’s street gangs when he discovers a local police task force is harboring a horrific secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in.”

Jermaine Fowler, Justin Long, RJ Cyler, Freddie Gibbs, CM Punk, YG, Flying Lotus, Dermot Mulroney, Jon Oswald, and Nicki Micheaux star in Night Patrol. Fowler stars as the central LAPD officer with Long as his partner.

Fantastic Fest writes, “Although Night Patrol is a wild, it’s undeniably a politically charged dive into the underbelly of the LA police force. Festival alumnus Ryan Prows’s second feature is both fun and savage. The entire cast delivers top-notch performances, and FF’s good friend Justin Long is impeccable as Hawkins, the legacy recruit into Night Patrol.”

Prows wrote the script with Shaye Ogbonna (Fight Night), Tim Cairo (Off Ramp), and Jake Gibson (He Bled Neon). The foursome previously collaborated on Prows’ Lowlife.

Stay tuned for our festival coverage in the coming days. In the meantime, sink your fangs into the slick new teaser poster for Night Patrol.
