The ‘Bat Walk’ will be held at Ford Park on Friday, October 10 between 6pm and 8pm, making use of the earlier nights to witness the creatures in their natural habitat.
The organisers said: “As day becomes dusk on October 10, join us in Ford Park for a family-friendly, sunset stroll when the bats are coming out to fly and feed.
 “We’ll begin with an expert-led introduction to bats at 6pm, ready for the sunset at 6:26pm.
“After the sun has gone down, we’ll set off on our family-friendly guided walk to spot our winged friends and to learn more about bats and the wildlife surrounding them.”
