Byron reveals he wants to leave
Neighbours kicks off an exit storyline for Byron Stone next week as he questions his future in Erinsborough.
Byron finds himself torn, as his desire for a fresh start away from Ramsay Street is opposed by his struggling mum Jane Harris.
In upcoming scenes, Byron confides in his sister Nicolette about how he’s feeling and she gives him some useful advice.
Byron then consults Jane about his plan to leave Erinsborough, but she becomes overwhelmed and begs him to stay.

“It’s all too much, too soon for Jane after the tragic death of her mum Amanda just a few weeks ago,” our Neighbours source explains.
“Jane doesn’t want to lose anyone else from her life – even in positive circumstances – but it’s a tough pill to swallow for Byron as she’s the one who’s been criticising his lack of direction.”
Byron has faced a tough few weeks, mixed with family tragedy and the breakdown of his relationship with Sadie Rodwell.
Jane also recently gave Byron some tough-talking life advice, questioning why he’s still living in a share house with no real focus on his longer-term future.

When Byron sees how upset Jane is over the thought of him leaving, he decides to stay in town after all.
Nicolette is sceptical over whether this is the right choice and privately reminds Byron that he has to consider his own happiness too.
“Nic knows that Jane is going through a difficult time but will adjust to life without Byron eventually,” our insider adds.

Xavier Molyneux, who played the role of Byron, finished filming at Neighbours earlier this year and wasn’t around for the final months of shooting on set. His exit scenes will air in the coming weeks.
He’s since been cast to take the lead role in Prime Video’s new Viking series Bloodaxe, continuing the long tradition of Neighbours being a launchpad for young actors.
Saskia’s sneaky behaviour continues
Prime Video / FremantleMedia Australia
Saskia Ramsay’s clingy attitude starts to cause concern, so attention turns to a behaviour report on her that was issued by her previous school.
Always one step ahead, Saskia sneaks into Jane’s office and alters the report to change the narrative of what happened.
Fooled by the adjustments, Jane reports back to Susan Kennedy that Saskia was the victim of bullying.
Despite this, Susan grows increasingly unsettled by Saskia’s desire to spend excessive amounts of time with her now they’re working together.
Susan informs Saskia that she’s no longer needed at Eirini Rising, but the troubled teen looks set to take revenge when she sneaks into the Kennedys’ back yard.

Cara faces a tough decision, as she wants to keep Remi happy but isn’t keen on moving away from her sons. She seeks a compromise by suggesting that she and Remi could sleep in separate bedrooms.

As tensions are running high, Annalise agrees that she’ll focus on the exhibition while Krista Sinclair concentrates on helping Lassiters to win the Bronze Bell prize. The women are keen to stay out of each other’s way.
Annalise visits Ramsay Street and asks Karl Kennedy to help fast-track the council approval she needs for her ambitious plans.
The next day, Karl grimly warns Annalise that it’s not looking good – which could jeopardise the entire project.
