Simon Easterby has admitted that some British & Irish Lions players could depart the squad before the final two Tests — with fresh faces continuing to arrive in camp.
Scotland back-rower Gregor Brown is the latest to join up, linking with Andy Farrell’s men on Sunday. He joins fellow Scots Darcy Graham, Rory Sutherland and Ewan Ashman, all of whom were in New Zealand for Scotland’s summer clashes against the Maori All Blacks, Samoa, and Fiji.

When asked whether the newcomers would remain in the squad, Easterby hinted that decisions are still to be made.
“We’ll see how Tuesday plays out,” he said, referring to the clash with the First Nations and Pasifika XV. “Some lads may head home, but performances could change things.”

“Plans probably will be determined after tomorrow night,” he said.
“You’ve got a number of guys that we need to make sure that we get through tomorrow night and then that will be determined post that game tomorrow. Probably not as easy to say it straight away because we don’t know what will happen tomorrow night.
“If we pick up a few injuries to specific positions, then it becomes something that we’ll have to consider.”

“Too weak” – Three Changes Andy Farrell Must Make for Lions’ Second Test vs Australia
#1. Hugo Keenan – Fullback
Performance Summary:
Rating Consensus: 5/10 across all outlets
Errors: Two turnovers, poor under the high ball, responsible for Max Jorgensen’s try
Positives: Grew into the game slightly, some flashes of attacking promise
Critique:
Keenan struggled under pressure, especially in the aerial game — a non-negotiable at Test level. His missed contest under the high ball directly led to Australia’s first try, and he looked shaky throughout when tested defensively.
Replacement: Blair Kinghorn
If fit, Kinghorn offers more size, versatility, and attacking spark. His high ball security and counter-attacking ability could offer greater threat and reliability.
Final Verdict:
Keenan should be dropped for lack of command at the back and vulnerability under pressure, which cost the Lions territory and points. Kinghorn’s more robust and dynamic style is a better fit against high-kicking sides like Australia.
