Hollyoaks‘ Clare Devine will target the teenagers of the village as she plots a deadly revenge scheme ahead of her exit – who could be in the crosshairs of the iconic villain?
Clare returned to the Channel 4 soap earlier this year after an absence of 12 years, with the character being re-introduced to the village as the wife of the corrupt police officer, DI Alistair Banks.
What to Read Next
Clare has been in grief ever since the villainous Banks was killed in a shooting involving Vicky Grant, Frankie Osborne and Dillon Ray, with Dillon being revealed as the culprit after a ballistics report was discovered.
In scenes set to air next week (29 and 30 September), two storylines will converge as Clare discovers Sienna Blake and Ste Hay on the Love Boat, with the pair being held hostage by serial killer Jez.

Instead of freeing the duo, Clare decides to use the situation to her advantage as she believes that Jez is carrying a bucketload of money belonging to her late husband, with the villain attempting to blackmail the killer.
Frankie, meanwhile, is devastated after the case against Clare and Grace Black is dropped due to a lack of evidence. Clare later states her intention to flee from the village, with Grace left heartbroken and Froggy being furious.
Just as she prepares to leave, Clare comes across the trio of teenagers and demands answers as to who killed her husband. She bundles the group into her car, and plays a twisted game of truth or dare to determine who the culprit is…
“The teens are terrified when Clare turns on them again,” our Hollyoaks insider explains. “She’s been keeping her distance since being arrested, but now that she’s fleeing, she decides that she has nothing left to lose.
