Donald Trump is set to spark fan chaos at the start of The Ryder Cup.
The golf-loving US President is heading to Bethpage for Friday’s tee-off to back the hosts in their bid to sink Europe.
However, Trump’s appearance is going to cause mayhem for the 50,000 supporters who have paid big bucks for tickets and hope to be in place for the opening shots of the clash.
Added security details and protocol are going to make it even more stressful to get onto the grounds at Bethpage State Park.
Ryder Cup chiefs issued a statement which read: “Those attending on Friday should expect enhanced security measures and additional restrictions in place. Ticketed attendees are strongly urged to arrive as early as possible and should budget extra time as they plan their day.
“In addition to security screening at the entrance, spectators will be subjected to TSA-style screening points around the Clubhouse, adjacent grandstand and surrounding areas. If spectators leave these secure areas, they will need to be screened again prior to reentering that area.
“Gates will open for ticket holders at 5am. Guests should make every effort to restrict personal items to a minimum.”

There is a list of banned items for around the first-tee grandstand or clubhouse area include: Portable folding chairs, large vaping devices, torch-style lighters, metal/hard plastic insulated beverage containers and large umbrellas.
Range finders, laptops and tablets are also outlawed as Trump’s security gets rigid with fans even warned to expect temporary delays moving around publicly accessible areas inside and outside of the course with frozen spaces before, during or after the event.
Despite the nightmare for fans, the American team are delighted that their President is heading along to back the squad with his mate Bryson DeChambeau in the side.

Captain Keegan Bradley said: “I’m deeply honoured that the President of the United States is going to come support our team at the Ryder Cup, I think anytime you can be around a current president is a pretty phenomenal thing, but when you’re representing your country at a place like Bethpage Black in New York, having the president there to support you is something that is just absolutely incredible. I’m really grateful to him for doing that for us.
“I really look forward to what that first tee is going to be like with the president on the tee. I think this first tee at Bethpage is going to be a sporting event to remember across any sport and then you add on the President of the United States standing there, I really think it’s going to be something that everyone will remember forever.”
Euro skipper Luke Donald has his boys prepared and added: “I think anytime a sitting president wants to come to an event, it just shows how big the Ryder Cup is. You’ve got to see that as a mark of respect. President Trump is obviously a big supporter of golf and he knows a lot of the players this week and has met them before.
“I think you see it as that, as a mark of respect, that a sitting President wants to support an event when he has a very busy schedule. To find time for that shows something.”
