In that episode, something will happen at Walford High that will spark a “heated” debate.
While further spoilers haven’t been released yet, 9 October is the night that BBC Three will air a special one-off documentary titled EastEnders Investigates: The Manosphere.

Related to the documentary, the soap has been exploring the issue of sexist online radicalisation through the character of Joel Marshall.
Since his arrival on Albert Square, Joel has taken advice from a vile online influencer. He has made sexist comments to multiple women, sexually assaulted a woman on the Tube and filmed it, recorded himself having sex with Avani Nandra-Hart without her permission, and leaked explicit footage of Stacey Slater for all of Walford to see.
We know that Joel is set to clash with Sharon Watts in upcoming scenes, and that Tommy Moon has started to feel uncomfortable at some of his friend’s actions. Could we see a turning point?
