The All Blacks have recieved a double blow in the wake of their 33-24 victory in the first of two Bledisloe Cup clashes to finish the Rugby Championship.

Veteran first five-eighth Beauden Barrett and loosehead prop Ethan de Groot were confirmed to be ruled out by assistant Jason Holland as the team travelled to Perth today.

Barrett’s shoulder injury occurred as he tracked back to force the ball in the in-goal uncontested. He was forced from the field immediately, with Damian McKenzie replacing him from the bench. It has been diagnosed as an AC joint injury.

There was no additional call up for Beauden Barrett, with McKenzie and Ruben Love still in the squad.

De Groot was taken off for an HIA and did not return. Hurricanes prop Tevita Mafileo, who has been with the side as injury cover, will travel with the squad as De Groot’s replacement.

Winger Caleb Clarke was subbed off early with an ankle injury, but will still travel with the squad.

Captain Scott Barrett, also out with a shoulder injury like brother Beauden, will travel with the team but is not yet certain to play in Perth.
