Thursday’s card at Belmont at the Big A will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $26,885 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday’s nine-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $1,792.33 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Sunday’s Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 4 with a win from Glorious Boy [No. 4, $19.42] in a six-furlong outer turf maiden optional claimer with Hall of Famer Javier Castellano aboard for trainer Carlos Martin.

Castellano doubled up aboard the Mark Hennig-conditioned Stamp of Approval [No. 5, $17.50] in a 1 1/16-mile inner turf starter optional claimer, in Race 5. The next race saw Bravaro [No. 3, $12.64] prevail under Dylan Davis in a six-furlong New York-bred maiden for trainer Saffie Joseph, Jr. in Race 6.

In Race 7, Kendrick Carmouche navigated Believable [No. 10, $18.56] to a tight photo finish victory in a one-turn mile maiden for Hall of Famer Todd Pletcher. In Race 8, the $150,000 Gio Ponti going one-mile on the inner turf, Salamis [No. 7, $6.32*] rallied to victory with Flavien Prat up for five-time Eclipse Award-winner Chad Brown.

With just the favored Deemer covered heading into the Race 9 finale, a 1 1/16-mile outer turf maiden claimer for state-breds, the Bruce Levine-trained I Can See That [No. 7, $20.80] led from gate-to-wire with Ricardo Santana, Jr. in the saddle, triggering the carryover.

Thursday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 3 at approximately 2:10 p.m. Eastern and features the Grade 3 Matron in Race 5. First post for the eight-race card is 1:10 p.m.
