Tyson Fury has seemingly hit back at critics after his eldest daughter, Venezuela, got engaged at her 16th birthday celebration.
The ‘Gypsy King’ along with his wife Paris are celebrating Venezuela’s engagement to her boxer boyfriend Noah Price. Mum of seven Paris, 35, took to Instagram to reveal her daughter was proposed to during her 16th birthday party.
She wrote: “Congratulations to @venezuelafuryofficial and @7noahprice on getting engaged. Both only young but when you know you know! Still in shock but very happy for you both. Me and your Dad couldn’t be prouder xxx @tysonfury”.
Venezuela and Noah’s announcement comes just weeks after they went Instagram official. In a video uploaded to social media, Price could be seen sporting a red polo top while Tyson’s eldest daughter was wearing a white sparkly crop top and matching skirt. The pair were seen laughing on the dance floor before Noah got down on one knee and proposed to Venezuela.
She then laughed before indicating she had said yes. Noah then placed a ring on her wedding finger before planting a kiss on her cheek. The clip has since gone viral on social media and has caused a real split online, with many questioning Fury’s daughter’s tender age. But the former two-time heavyweight champion has seemingly had his say.

Fury, 37, has defended his daughter after he shared a video on Instagram originally posted by Minaret Minds. The narrator in the clip says: “50 years ago people got married at 18 and stayed together until death. Today people wait until 30 to get married and divorce within three years.
“Back then, couples had nothing but built everything together. Now couples have everything but can’t build anything together. Our grandparents shared one small room and called it paradise. We have five bedroom houses and call them prisons. The only difference is we now call commitment settling and call running away finding yourself.”

The Minaret Minds video continued: “Who convinced us that love expires, that compatibility is instant, that marriage should feel like a Disney movie every day. If we question ourselves, we might stop expecting perfection and start building connection. I ask have we become on focused on finding the one that we forgot how to become the one.”
Venezuela’s engagement is very much similar to her parents’ own love story, as they first met when Paris was 15 and Tyson was 17 at a mutual friend’s wedding. The pair began dating the year after they first met and officially tied the knot back in 2008 at the ages of 19 and 21 at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Fury carved out a successful career in boxing. The ‘Gypsy King’ first became a world champion back in 2015 after he defeated Wladimir Klitschko on points in Germany. He would go on to have three epic fights with long-time rival Deontay Wilder, before going on to face Oleksandr Usyk on two separate occasions back in 2024.
The Ukrainian became the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis when he defeated Fury on points in May 2024. Usyk would go on to score his second win over the Brit just seven months later. Weeks after the sequel loss, the ‘Gypsy King’ officially called it a day and announced his retirement from the sport.
