Voting Now Open for TRM Training Performance and TRM Ride of the Season at Naas

Naas Racecourse is delighted to confirm that voting is now open for the inaugural TRM Training Performance of the Season and TRM Ride of the Season awards. These accolades, kindly sponsored by Europe’s largest manufacturer and distributor of Nutritional Feed Supplements for horses TRM, celebrate the standout performances on the track at Naas during 2025. You can vote for your winner here.
Winners will each receive €1,000 worth of TRM products, with the results announced on Day 2 of the October Weekend Flat Season Finale, Sunday 12th October.
TRM Training Performance of the Season – Nominees:
Andy Slattery – Sunchart defended his title in the Devoy Stakes (Listed), 23rd March. Watch replay here.
Sheila Lavery – Miss Nifty stepped up from 5f to 10f on trainer debut to win by 4 lengths at 66/1, 25th June. Watch replay here.
The Harty’s – Areana broke her maiden on her first start for the yard, following a fifth trainer transfer,24th August. Watch replay here.
TRM Ride of the Season – Nominees:
Keithen Kennedy – A well timed patient ride aboard Tawaazon for John Kinsella. Always prominent and kept on well to lead close to home, 10th May. Watch replay here.
Colin Keane – Brilliantly guided Babouche to victory for Ger Lyons in the Goffs Lacken Stakes, 18th May. Watch replay here.
Nicola Burns – Produced a remarkable recovery on Star Mind for Ger O’Leary, overcoming a slow start to win in the final strides, 4th August. Watch replay here.
Voting will close on Tuesday, 7th October, and racing fans are encouraged to cast their votes and support their favourites. You can vote for your winner here.
In addition, the Flat Finale will see the crowning of the TRM Best Turned Out League winner, with trainer Ross O’Sullivan currently leading the standings. The winning yard will be awarded a €1,000 TRI Equestrian Store voucher along with a celebratory breakfast morning at the yard.
TRM will also continue their strong support of Irish racing by sponsoring the TRM Calphormin – Strong Foundation, Strong Future Apprentice Handicap. Should the winning apprentice rider not already carry sponsorship, they will receive an exclusive one-year sponsorship with TRM, including branded riding gear and apparel – an initiative now in its second year.
