Widnes Vikings are pleased to announce that Lewis Hall has signed a new two-year deal that will keep him with the club until the end of 2027.
Hall, 31, signed for the club ahead of 2025 and made a bright start to life in a Vikings shirt, but an injury-hit campaign limited him to just eight appearances.
The loose forward crossed on his Widnes debut against Rochdale Hornets in the Challenge Cup and quickly established himself as a fan favourite.
On his new deal, Hall said: “I would firstly like to thank Allan and all the staff for giving me another opportunity after an injury-ridden season in 2025. I’m really looking forward to the next couple of years and seeing what we can achieve as a team.
“2025 was a difficult period for me, so fingers crossed for a healthy 2026 and onwards. I just want to help the team in any way I can so we can be as successful as possible.
“I really enjoy being part of the team, we’ve got a great group of lads, I really get along with all the coaching staff, and I’m just looking forward to getting stuck into pre-season.“
Head Coach Allan Coleman commented: “I think people could see in that spell at the start of the season, when Lewis was fit, we won every game. He really strengthens us in the middle and offers us a lot.
“He was massively unfortunate with injuries last season, but I think he’s massive for this team.
“I think anybody who watched him this year could see the value that he added to this team, even if it was only for a small period, and I think he can really kick on in 2026.”
Lewis is sponsored by DCBL.
