Kent seamer George Garrett is to retire from cricket following the conclusion of the 2025 season.

The 25-year-old made 23 appearances for Kent, taking 39 wickets during his two seasons with the club.

Garrett, signed from Warwickshire having previously come through the Bears’ academy, is set to start a law conversion course following his cricket retirement.

“I’d like to thank everyone at Kent for giving me an opportunity and a warm welcome – something I’ll always be grateful for,” Garrett said.
