William Saliba has revealed why he chose to sign a new contract at Arsenal despite strong interest from Real Madrid, as he cited Trent Alexander-Arnold’s move from Liverpool among his reasons. The French defender’s previous deal at Emirates Stadium was due to expire in the summer of 2027. He has now penned a new long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.
