Dreams come true at Keeneland Oct. 9 as local farms and Make-A-Wish unite for a day celebrating children, racing, and community spirit.
LEXINGTON, Ky. — For one unforgettable afternoon, dreams will take the spotlight at Keeneland.
The 18th annual Make-A-Wish Day at Keeneland is set for Thursday, Oct. 9, continuing a beloved tradition that brings together local Thoroughbred farms and organizations to grant wishes for children and their families.
For 18 years, these partners have teamed up with Keeneland to create a VIP experience that includes presenting a trophy after each of the day’s 10 races, meeting jockeys, and enjoying all the excitement of the race afternoon.
Fans are encouraged to cheer on these children and support Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. There will be opportunities to help make even more wishes come true by dropping donations in dedicated locations near the Keeneland Paddock and by taking part in a silent auction featuring equine-related items.
