Senior attorney Joshua J. Trombley recently joined the Commercial Litigation and Labor & Employment Law practice groups of Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and most accomplished law firms.

A member of the firm’s Grand Rapids office, Trombley focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, product liability and labor and employment law.

Trombley headshotTrombley has nearly a decade of experience litigating claims on behalf of retailers, manufacturers, Limited Liability Companies (LLCs), municipalities, property management companies, employers and public school districts. These matters range from breach of contract actions and LLC member disputes to product liability and employment related issues, including allegations of discrimination filed with the Michigan Department of Civil Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also counsels employers on FMLA, Title VII, ADA and the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act applicability and has been retained by employers to conduct internal investigations related to allegations of employee misconduct.

Admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Michigan, Trombley is a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan. He received his law degree and undergraduate degrees from Michigan State University in 2014 and 2011, respectively.
