Gorka Marquez has joked that he’s ‘scared’ as he shared a major ‘almost time’ update with his fiancee Gemma Atkinson.
Those who have followed the couple’s relationship will know that the loved-up pair met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, before love blossomed the following year when they headed out on the show’s live tour.
They’ve since gone on to welcomed two children together, daughter Mia in 2019 and son Thiago in 2023, and Gorka popped the question to Gemma inbetween on Valentine’s Day in 2021.
Now, the pair are set to join forces to give their followers a real glimpse into their relationship and family life in Greater Manchester.
It was announced last month that Gemma and Gorka will release their own podcast, which comes after they had their own successful family reality show. Gemma & Gorka: Behind the Lens, on U&W.
The new original Rayo Podcast ‘Lost in Translation’ explores the couple’s day-to-day life, juggling their busy schedules alongside parenting their two young children.
On Thursday (October 9), the couple offered an update on the project. Sharing a video which also gave listeners a snippet of what they can expect from the podcast, Gorka wrote on Instagram: “Almost time to get Lost in Translation. EP. one 22.10.25. Ps: listen to this till the end [crying laughing emojis].”
He then reshared the post to his Instagram Story and quipped: “I am scared about this.” But fans were excited as they rushed to comment.

A synopsis for what fans can expect from the podcast reads: “With language and cultural differences also thrown into their relationship mix they can find themselves, like many couples, not always seeing eye to eye along the way!
“Gemma finds it frustrating that Gorka has a place for everything and everything must be in its place whereas her more laid-back messy approach drives Gorka up the wall. He also doesn’t understand how she can have absolutely no interest in her fashion choices but is happy to consult her crystals in their big life choices.
“As well as stories and discussions from their own lives the couple who met on Strictly in 2017 will be helping their listeners to navigate any problems they might have with their own unique set of advice, but will Gemma and Gorka be offering the same solution or be dancing to a totally different beat?”
