All Creatures Great and Small introduces some interesting new characters.

All Creatures Great and Small is back on Channel 5 and in tonight’s episode, titled Captain Farnon?, a memorial service is held in Darrowby to honour the war’s fallen soldiers.

Tristan Farnon (played by Callum Woodhouse) tries to hide his emotion and he is keen to go for a drink with his brother Siegfried (Samuel West).

However, he finds himself at the bottom of his brother’s priorities, whether Siegfried means it or not.

Meanwhile, James Herriot (Nicholas Ralph) tells Mrs Pumphrey (Patricia Hodge) not to give up hope in her quest to find a breeding mate for Tricki.

He also plans a date night to get some rare alone time with Helen. Here’s all you need to know about the additional guest cast.
