Front man Tom Holland was spotted getting suited up for the role at the town’s business park in Basing View on Thursday, October 9.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been filming in the Hampshire town since the end of September.
And residents have reported seeing plumes of smoke rising from the business park where scenes are being filmed.
The movie, which is expected to be released in July 2026, stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Both he and his stunt double have been spotted nearby.

He was seen earlier in the day wearing a hoodie, a green baseball cap and carrying a cup of coffee, but this sighting was the first look Basingstoke fans had of Tom all suited up!

The production has seen Basing View transform into New York City, with NYPD roadblocks and FBI cars, and more recently, NYPD fire trucks and a helicopter.
In recent years, an increasing number of major Hollywood productions have made their way across the Atlantic, choosing the UK as their filming destination.
The shift is not only a result of financial incentives, but also of the UK’s established infrastructure and skilled workforce. With film studios at Shinfield in Reading and Pinewood in Slough, the UK has become a magnet for high-budget films, including blockbuster franchises like Star Wars, James Bond, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The UK goverment also offers a film tax relief programme, offering up to a 25 per cent rebate on production costs, which is making it a more attractive location for international filmmakers since its introduction in 2007.
