At Wincombe Business Park a golf simulator and sandwich bar has been given planning consent at Unit 2D (P/FUL/2025/04424).

Among other approvals is the demolition of a stable building at Hunters Lodge, Sherborne Causeway, to make way for a new home. The application (P/FUL/2025/03032) includes landscaping and associated works.

In the town centre, NatWest on The Commons (P/ADV/2025/02734) received permission to replace its signage, while Longcross House on Long Cross (P/LBC/2025/04321) will undergo extensive internal and external alterations, including the installation of solar panels and sash window replacements.

A residential extension at 2 Homefield, Shaftesbury (P/HOU/2025/04948) was granted, allowing for a single-storey addition and garage conversion.

Also approved is a new dwelling at Whitings Farm, Cann (P/FUL/2025/03751), continuing the trend of small-scale rural development in the Shaftesbury area.
