The screenshot above already reveals a drawback of the European Vivo X300 Pro, which is addressed in the video starting at the 9:50 mark. In contrast to the China model with 6,510mAh of battery capacity, the EU model only offers 5,440mAh, which is significantly less. As explained in a conversation with Vivo and industry representatives, this is primarily due to a European transport regulation that mandates a maximum limit of 20Wh for single-cell batteries, similar to the United States.

The Vivo X200 Pro has a battery size of 5,200mAh compared to 6,000mAh in China. The gain of just 240mAh in the Vivo X300 Pro is simply disappointing for European consumers. However, Vivo is not the only brand with this issue and could only work around it by using a thicker two-cell battery, in case there aren’t any changes in legislation.
