The Rock gives Jason Kelce’s appearance at WrestleMania 40 high marks, and he recently explained exactly why. The NFL star made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 40 with Lane Johnson last year and helped Rey Mysterio and Andrade defeat Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio. Rock was asked by Travis Kelce during his appearance on the New Heights podcast to rate his brother’s appearance, and you can see highlights below:

“[joking] My laughing is an indication. No no, it’s not. It’s not. You know what? I’ll give it a 9.9. It was cool.”

“Here’s what I love about that. Understand that that like in our world of pro wrestling — even though pro wrestling is global and it’s publicly traded these days. Any time anyone comes into the world of pro wrestling, it is it’s the greatest thing to us. Doesn’t matter how big the wrestling world has become, and these superstars, how big that — doesn’t matter. You, anybody. So, it’s always a big deal, man.

“And again, I grew up in the business, so it’s like, any kind of celebrity or champion or anybody who comes in is a special thing. And you did great.”
