Looking at the fighters Worsell actually highlighted (Wood, Warrington, Billam-Smith, etc.), it seems he was ranking the most popular local/regional heroes, not global mega-stars. If you assume Fury and Joshua are an automatic Top 2, who are the actual 3-10 most popular domestic fighters in the UK right now? Does Daniel Dubois

All the sports you disparaged are global sports, whereas the stuff you have out there is just parochial guff no one else is interested in. This is a metaphor for your under educated population generally who, outside Ivy League graduates, has little concept of the world outside its borders.

It’s just low effort filler content, notice how there’s an arbitrary list like this most weeks. I wish they would attempt some serious investigative journalism and have a dedicated sanctioning body correspondent who challenges each of their ridiculous decisions. They have the resources for it.

British boxing is in a pretty sad state of affairs. But no worries, Hearn “the used car salesman” and Old Fish Eyes will sell the brit fans garbage as if it were gold, and they will buy it and ask for more!
