Take a look inside the cabin in the woods that Grand Design presenter Kevin McCloud called “essentially worthless”.
Set among 20 acres of land, couple Marcus and Abi set their hearts on creating their dream home from the forest’s timber.
Cheeky presenter Kevin McCloud told the pair on Thursday’s episode that their home was “essentially worthless” because they would be unable to sell the house. This is due to special planning permission they got under the One Planet policy that looks at how they live their lives, from the way they eat, buy clothes and grow food.
He told them: “So if I’m right, you are spending £100,000 on something you hope you can live in for the rest of your days but you’re not sure about that, you might get kicked out of it, and it’s going to be essentially worthless.”
