Last time he was in the ring, Whittaker claimed his revenge over bitter rival Liam Cameron.
After the pair’s first clash ended controversially, they ran the score back in April and ‘The Surgeon’ returned to winning ways.
Now, the 2020 Olympic silver medalist is gearing up to face Gavazi.
The German lost his debut in 2018, but has since been on an impressive 19-fight win streak.
Whittaker is an overwhelming favourite to get the job done, but will be hoping to make a statement and avoid any slip-up as he pushes towards a busy 2026.
The pair are going head-to-head at the top of the card at the bp pulse LIVE arena on home territory for Whittaker in Birmingham.
