The UK’s first major survey of Anthony Lawrence is taking place at the Palais des Vaches in Hampshire during October 2025.

The exhibition will showcase a wide range of work by the late post-modern artist who lived from 1951 to 2022 and had a career that spanned still life, portraiture, landscapes, and religious themes.

Nick and Caroline de Rothschild, owners of the gallery, said: “We are very excited to work alongside the Lawrence family to share Anthony’s outstanding collection of work in a very special retrospective exhibition at The Palais des Vaches Gallery.

“Anthony was a contemporary artist of the highest calibre, enjoying a decades-long prestigious painting career that led him to create a vast collection of works that illustrate his artistic journey.”

The exhibition will include previously unseen works and offer a comprehensive look at the artist’s five-decade career.

Anthony Lawrence’s portrait of Nigel Mansell recently joined the F1 anniversary exhibit at Beaulieu.
