RANGERS can today confirm the following appointments to the men’s first-team coaching staff.

Sascha Lense has joined the club as men’s first team performance manager, while Matthias Kaltenbach will also join Danny Röhl’s staff as assistant aoach.

Lense most recently worked alongside Röhl at Sheffield Wednesday and was previously part of Ralf Rangnick’s backroom team at Manchester United.

Kaltenbach, meanwhile, came through the coaching ranks at Hoffenheim, enjoying a six-year spell as assistant coach at the Bundesliga outfit where he worked alongside now-German National Team manager, Julian Nagelsmann.

He then joined Ajax’s first-team set-up in 2022 in his role as assistant coach to Alfred Schreuder.
