The presenter for The Royal Variety Performance 2025 has been confirmed as acts for 40th anniversary celebration, which will air on ITV, were revealed.
Returning to the Royal Albert Hall in London for the fifth year in a row, the event which began in 1912 is the world’s longest-running entertainment show.
With senior members of the royal family in attendance, the variety show is aimed at families and features acts from the worlds of music, dance, comedy and other specialities.
Last year saw Britain’s Got Talent’s Amanda Holden and the Celebrity Traitors’ Alan Carr on presenting duties, with music legend Elton John among those who performed.
Each year sees a new presenter taking on the role of host, with Bradley Walsh, Lee Mack, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan among those to present the action in recent years.
It’s now been confirmed that the 2025 presenter is none other than Manchester comedian, actor and presenter Jason Manford.
The Salford native has been busy as of late, with his BBC gameshow The Answer Run proving to be a big hit with viewers and his A Manford All Seasons seeing him tour the UK.

Set to be held on Wednesday, November 19, this year’s edition of the event will begin with opera star Katherine Jenkins leading the National Anthem.
Leading the acts performing on the night is Jessie J, who recently made her TV comeback on Strictly Come Dancing after revealing her early-stage breast cancer diagnosis during the summer.
Just weeks after she performed at Capital’s Summertime Ball at London’s Wembley Stadium, Jesse had a full mastectomy performed in June.
The Price Tag singer had to cancel the US leg and postpone the UK and European dates of her upcoming tour due to her having to undergo another surgery.
With Jessie performing the very personal song I’ll Never Know Why, iconic group Madness will make their debut appearance on the night, with Grammy award-winning Laufey also performing.
McFly’s Tom Fletcher will introduce an exclusive performance from the eagerly anticipated Paddington The Musical, which he composed, with Stephen Fry also making a guest appearance, hot off the stage from the West End production of The Importance of Being Earnest.
Keeping in line with tradition, magician Harry Moulding will finally get to take to the stage after winning the 2025 edition of Britain’s Got Talent.
There will be comedy from Tom Davis and Mick Miller, plus the incomparable and award-winning impressionist cast from the hit BBC series Dead Ringers.
Sir Bob Geldof, Midge Ure and special guests will introduce a one-off performance from the Live Aid musical Just For One Day, celebrating 40 years since the iconic concerts were helf in London and Philadelphia.
On top of this, Strictly’s Johannes Radebe will showcase an extract from the award-winning musical Kinky Boots and America’s Got Talent winners Adrian Stoica and his border collie Hurricane will make their British debut and wow audiences with a special choreographed routine.
A show-stopping finale from the multi-award winning musical Les Misérables, which will see 400 performers take to the stage including Michael Ball, Matt Lucas, Katy Secombe, Bradley Jaden and Killian Donnelly, along with the West End and Paris casts, plus amateur companies from all over the UK, to perform a medley celebrating the show’s 40th anniversary.
