EastEnders star Gillian Taylforth has joined the celebrations for Hollyoaks‘ 30th anniversary, looking back on her role on the Channel 4 soap. The actor starred in the series as Sandy Roscoe from 2013 to 2015.

Taylforth made this two-year detour to Chester over a decade ago before returning to EastEnders in a regular capacity in 2015, reprising her role as Kathy Beale. She had previously played the character for 15 years, between 1985 and 2000.

As Hollyoaks has just celebrated its 30th anniversary, some cast members from EastEnders have wished the soap a happy birthday in a video montage, including Taylforth.
