Big Brother spoilers follow.

Big Brother housemate Jenny has left viewers fuming after her “selfish” move towards her “best friend” Cameron. The fan-favourite contestant came under fire in tonight’s episode when she implied Cameron didn’t deserve a message from his family because he wasn’t vocal about missing home.

During today’s task, the housemates had to unanimously decide who would receive 50 eyeballs, which could later be used to redeem prizes. As Zelah, Jenny, Cameron and Teja’s names were offered up, Jenny suggested that she should be chosen ahead of Cameron.

“Who in your family would you want to see, because you don’t really talk about them, in the nicest way possible,” she told Cameron, later adding: “We had a conversation two days ago about family and you were saying with boarding school, you’re used to being away from home anyway.”

Most of the housemates decided to vote for Zelah, but Caroline’s vote for Jenny and Farida’s vote for herself meant they all had to choose again. Ultimately, it was Jenny who received the currency and was granted the power to award ten eyeballs each to three other housemates.

Her decision to pick Caroline, Zelah and Teja annoyed viewers, who felt she had betrayed her closest friend in the house.

“So just because Cameron isn’t vocal about missing home, Jenny decides to speak for him and say she deserves it more…,” wrote one fan on X, with a second writing: “Kinda weird of jenny use cameron’s boarding school story against him and then not even give him the 10 eyes.”

Another added: “10 to Caroline and not to Cameron and then also invalidated his reasons for wanting to speak to family… Jenny very snakey diva!”

The situation escalated when a teary Cameron revealed he didn’t want his loved ones to watch the show and think he wasn’t missing them. Jenny then discussed her decision with Caroline and Nancy, leaving viewers baffled at her choice in confidants.

“Cameron just shed tears for the first time in the house to his “best friend” who then went off and talked down on him… yeah i’m riding for cameron get rid of jenny,” declared one fan.

A second said: “Jenny’s gone down in my rankings after tonight … bitching with caroline of all people about cameron who’s done nothing but been a friend and always been in her corner just does not sit well to Me.”

“Jenny just lost her place in the final so I hope the eyes are worth it,” noted a viewer, with another echoing: “Jenny I hope that letter was worth you losing the win cause wow how can you be so two faced about your so called bestie.”

One housemate who won’t be winning the series is Feyisola, who became the latest evictee tonight after facing off against Nancy, Tate and Teja.

Reflecting on the public’s decision, Feyisola said: “I’m up against three amazing people. Come on, like Teja’s the winner. She’s a star. It is what it is.”

Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX from Sundays through Fridays, followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live.
