Fans of The Wanted have been left fearful that there may have been a falling out among two of the bandmates, after spotting signs on Instagram.
The boyband formed in 2009, with members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes.
The quintet climbed the charts with tracks like All Time Low, before they went on a hiatus in 2014 so all five could focus on their solo projects.
They later reunited in 2021 for a charity concert after their late bandmate Tom Parker was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
Max and Siva have since relaunched the group as The Wanted 2.0, after Tom’s death in 2022, but Nathan and Jay decided not to join.
Fans of the band have now speculated that there may be ‘beef’ between Max and Nathan, after noticing that the pair no longer follow each other on Instagram.

Sharing the details to a Reddit fan thread, @No-Sweet8458 said they had been a fan of the band since 2012, writing: ‘I remember vividly most of them unfollowing each other and specifically Max unfollowing all of them and then ofc all of them followed each other back after Tom announced his diagnosis.
‘I couldn’t help but to just check for fun to see if the boys are all following each other and couldn’t help but notice Max and Nathan unfollowed each other? I wonder if theres any beef between them.’
Replying on the thread, @AstronomerBorn4135 added: ‘They haven’t followed each other in a very long time. I think there’s some beef there but I don’t know what.’

Meanwhile, @Both_Foundation5817 said they had done the same sleuthing on Insta, writing: ‘I noticed this the first go round of this 2.0 stuff. I was kinda hopeful on the fact maybe they’d have a reunion but once I did some lurking I saw the no following thing.’
Max has been open in recent months after the recovery from heart surgery, which saw him rushed to A&E to have a pacemaker installed after his mother noticed he had ‘turned blue’.
Meanwhile, Nathan tied the knot with his fiancée Charlotte Burke in North Yorkshire earlier this month.Â
