Next week on Hollyoaks, Dillon makes a shocking romantic confession, while Lucas gets arrested, Liberty and Jez announce their romance, and John Paul kisses Ste.

1. Mercedes is concerned

Tony remains hopeful about his future with Diane, but he can’t quite move on as he receives a number of calls from Mercedes. He heads to the McQueen house asking Mercedes to back off, but she has a bigger problem to deal with as she’s worried about where Bobby is.

The Dog officially reopens its doors, but Tony’s thoughts are elsewhere. Following Bobby’s brutal death at the hands of Jez, will the heartbreaking truth be revealed?

2. John Paul kisses Ste

When Ste takes Dillon to a recovery meeting, he finds John Paul spiralling, following the breakdown of his relationship and his relapse.

John Paul is struggling and confesses his guilt about a recent situation. Ste comforts his ex, but John Paul misreads this gesture and tries to kiss him. How will Ste react?

3. Liberty and Jez make it official

Lime Pictures

Liberty decides to check on Jez following the events of his failed wedding day. He unexpectedly makes a move on her, but she pulls away, making it clear that Jez needs to prove he’s serious about a relationship.

Jez, Liberty, Sienna and Dodger arrive at The Dog to celebrate the reopening, and John Paul takes the opportunity to talk to Jez. But Jez coldly dismisses him, before shocking everyone and publicly kissing Liberty. Sienna and Dodger reject this shock new relationship – has this divided the family for good?

4. Ste makes a discovery

It seems that Lucas and Dillon’s relationship is finally back on track. But while Ste is feeling lonely, he downloads a dating app – and is shocked to come across his son’s boyfriend’s profile.

Ste confronts Dillon about what he’s found, desperate to get to the truth. Dillon admits that this is self-sabotage but is clear that he’s never actually met up with anyone he’s spoken to online.

5. Sienna feels betrayed

After a chaotic couple of weeks, Dodger shifts his focus to uncovering the truth about Dennis’ death. But he also arranges to have a drink with Clare, and Sienna is shocked about her twin’s close relationship with her fierce enemy.

She confronts him but Dodger pushes back against her protests, saying he’s had enough of the family drama.

6. Dillon confesses his feelings

Ste encourages Dillon to tell Lucas the truth, and he follows this advice. Lucas is hurt and lashes out, but the situation seems to improve as Dillon later feels hopeful about the future of their relationship.

Dillon thanks Ste for his advice, but in a shocking twist, he admits that he has feelings for him. He apologises for this admission and opens up to Ste as he tries to make sense of these conflicting emotions.

Later, Lucas finds out that Ste knew about the dating app situation before him and turns violent again. How will this complex situation resolve itself?

7. Lucas is arrested

Dillon and Lucas run into Clare and Grace at The Hutch, and there’s a tense confrontation. Lucas wants justice for Dillon’s exploitation, so he angrily storms into Grace’s flat, smashing up the property and demanding a confession from the sisters.

The situation quickly escalates, and while Leela arrives to calm things down, Dodger is forced to step in and arrest Lucas. Later, Clare says that Lucas should be punished for his actions. Is he in danger?

8. Donny puts a plan in place

Donny and Misbah attempt to bring their family together after a difficult few months by organising a meal. But it soon becomes clear that Vicky and Dillon are both still struggling to come to terms with recent events. The teens both lash out, frustrated that they aren’t able to move on while Grace and Clare are yet to face consequences.

Realising how much pain Vicky and Dillon are in, Donny vows to get justice for them – and starts by paying Tom a visit in prison. What is his next move?

9. Grace investigates

Following Clare’s shocking revelation about Grace’s firstborn, Grace is determined to track down her long-lost child.

To do this, she starts making a list of her father’s old contacts. But Clare isn’t willing to help and is more interested in making dinner for her and Dodger. Does Clare know more than she’s letting on?

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
