Carlos Alcaraz still has some big goals in the latter stages of the 2025 season.
Alcaraz has won Roland Garros and the US Open this year, as well as three Masters 1000 titles and three ATP 500 tournaments.
The latest of those came in Tokyo, with Alcaraz winning the Japan Open for the first time earlier this month.
Alcaraz suffered a physical issue in the Japanese capital, but he now appears to have recovered ahead of his final three tournaments this year.

Alcaraz has played at the Six Kings Slam since the Japan Open, but the Paris Masters is his first ATP tournament in this period.
The Paris Masters is the first of three remaining tournaments for Alcaraz, alongside the ATP Finals and the Davis Cup Finals, all events that are played on indoor hard courts.
This part of the season has been something that Alcaraz has relatively struggled with, but he does not think that he is a bad indoor hard court player.
Alcaraz was asked in his pre-tournament press conference which of the upcoming tournaments is the most important to him, and he suggested that the Davis Cup would mean the most to him.
“Well, I wouldn’t say I’m bad playing indoors,” said Alcaraz. “I think other players are better than me on indoor side. It’s a huge difference saying that.
“I see myself practicing, playing matches that I can play really good tennis, but obviously there are some matches that I played against someone that they are playing much, much better in indoor than I do. So I have to be ready for that, but I think I will get the good tennis on indoor.
“If I had to choose one between those three tournaments, you make me in trouble (smiling). To be honest, I don’t know. It’s big three tournaments that I have ahead. So Turin, it’s a really important one for me, but obviously the Davis Cup, playing with my teammates for my country, it’s a really special one.”

Although he did not choose the final ATP 1000 tournament of the year, Alcaraz has still made some important preparations for the Paris Masters, where he has never surpassed the quarterfinals before.
As the top seed, Alcaraz will receive an automatic bye to the second round, where he will play the winner of the match between Cameron Norrie and Sebastian Baez.
Some of the big threats in his half include Taylor Fritz, Alex de Minaur, Casper Ruud, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Jiri Lehecka.

Jannik Sinner and Alcaraz have played many times in 2025, and they could have another final if they both reach the championship match in Paris for the first time.
Alcaraz won his first indoor hard court title in Rotterdam earlier this year, and he will be hoping to add a second in Paris to begin a strong finish to 2025.
