London Broncos have been making a number of signings but they’ve lost one of their overseas stars to a Super League club for 2026.

The Broncos were among the clubs who had ambitions of playing in Super League in 2026 but they missed out with Bradford Bulls gaining their promotion via the IMG rankings, whilst Toulouse Olympique and York Knights both had their applications successfully approved.

Despite the fact they will play in the Championship in 2026, London haven’t stopped their recruitment drive with Dean Hawkins becoming the third NRL signing alongside Reagan Campbell-Gillard and Siliva Havili.

They’ve also brought back Sam Davis after his year at Salford Red Devils and signed young Warrington player Jake Ramsden.

However, they’ve now lost one of their key players too with Luke Polselli making a move to Super League as the Italian international becomes the first new signing for Toulouse Olympique ahead of 2026.

Toulouse Olympique make first official Super League signing

The Olympians had previously secured the permanent signing of Parramatta Eels’ Brendan hands but he’d spent the final few months of the 2025 season with the French club, whereas Polselli is a fresh new face at the Stade Ernest-Wallon.

Polselli played 24 games for London in 2025, more or less splitting the season positionally as he played 12 games in the halves, 11 games at full-back, and one off the bench.

During those 24 games, he scored 10 tries including a hat-trick from full-back against Sheffield Eagles. The 27-year-old had previously played in the New South Wales Cup and Queensland Cup, making 93 appearances at that level.

What position he’ll played under Sylvain Houles is unclear with the coach speaking to Polselli’s ability at both one and six.

He said: “We are very happy to have signed Luke. He is a great competitor and can play both at full-back and half-back.

“He is fast, provides good attacking options and will cause danger in opposing defenses.”

Speaking on his move, the Italian international said: “Joining a club like Toulouse is a dream come true. I can’t wait to meet the team and start this exciting new chapter.”
