FC Midtjylland manager Mike Tullberg has sent a rallying cry to his players just over a week before Celtic travel to Denmark.

The Danish outfit await Celtic in their next Europa League clash, with the Hoops in action against them on Thursday 6 November.

Celtic beat Sturm Graz in their last fixture in the competition to finally get off the mark and earn a first win.

Domestically, however, it has been poor for Brendan Rodgers’ side but the same can’t be said at FC Midtjylland.

As well as winning all three of their Europa League games, Tullberg’s side have won eight of their last nine games in the league.

Despite this, he still thinks there is more to come from his squad and has told his players to step it up.

He said: “I don’t think this team has reached anywhere near their peak yet.

“There were plenty of times in our win against Fredericia where we weren’t good enough.

“The pressure wasn’t good enough. We weren’t good enough on the ball.

“But credit to the players, they sorted it out and won 4-0.”

What happened the last time Celtic played FC Midtjylland?

It’s been four years since the two teams went head-to-head, with FC Midtjylland being the one to come out on top.
