West Midlands Police officers are continuing to investigate disorder in Wolverhampton that led to three people being taken to hospital yesterday evening.
A police cordon can still be seen at Staveley Road near Dunstall Peace Park where a significant police presence was seen last night.
Local people are shocked at the latest serious incident in the city with one telling our reporter: “I came down to the shop last night and saw police everywhere and I’ve been told it was a couple of people fighting.
“It’s not something that happens around here as it’s a very tight-knit community and the only trouble seems to come when people from outside come here.
“It’s sad to see this happen and very scary because of what has been happening in Whitmore Reans and Phoenix Park.”
