Hull KR have released one of their prop forwards with the Grand Final winners confirming that Eribe Doro is set to sign with another Super League club.

Doro signed for Hull KR ahead of the 2025 season and made nine appearances during his one year at Craven Park, however, he’s now already set for the exit door with the club confirming his release.

It comes as somewhat of a shock given Doro’s age, with the ex-Bradford man still only 24 and one of the younger players in the Robins pack.

Also, the quality that Doro has shown during his limited game time and the way that head coach Willie Peters has spoken about him makes this somewhat of a surprise.

A short statement from Hul KR confirmed the release of Doro, with the prop forward now set to link up with another Super League club ahead of the 2026 season.

Hull KR release Eribe Doro

The statement from Hull KR read: “Hull KR can confirm that prop forward, Eribe Doro has departed the club with immediate effect to pursue an opportunity with another Betfred Super League club.

“Having signed in the 2024 off-season, Eribe made nine appearances in his sole season with the Robins.”

Head coach Willie Peters said: “On behalf of everyone at Hull KR, I want to thank Eribe for his contribution to the club this season and we wish him all the best for the future with his new opportunity.”

Peters previously refused to rule out the idea of loaning Doro away as he explained that the prop needed Super League games under his belt.

Obviously, he’ll now find that, albeit with a different club with early reports from All Out Rugby League being that he will link up with former club Bradford Bulls following their promotion to Super League.
