Manny Pacquiao has confirmed that he is in talks over a potential blockbuster rematch with fellow superstar Floyd Mayweather.
The boxing legends fought in what was dubbed as the ‘Fight of the Century’ in 2015, which Mayweather won by unanimous decision.

Around $600million was raised in revenue at the event, and it could have a second chapter in 2026.
It’s been reported that streaming giants Netflix are ‘exploring’ the possibility of a rematch.
Pacquiao confirms talks
The 46-year-old didn’t say anything about where it would be streamed but confirmed that is a potential fight in the pipeline.
He told The Sun: “As long as Floyd will come back. I’m active in boxing, it’s possible.
“There is a talk. Like I said, I’m happy to start talking about, discussing about a possible rematch with Floyd.
“Of course, there’s a good chance to have a rematch because I’m still active – it’s only if he will come back that’s possible.”
Pacquiao claimed that tore his rotator cuff in sparring just a month before the first bout but was denied anti-inflammatory shots.
He said: “I’ve been motivated since after the fight.
“After the operation, I was OK to get back in the ring and fight again. Right now, God is good and giving me strength and good health to continue my career as a boxer.”
Pacquiao continued: “I’m a fighter as well. I’m not ducking anybody. I can fight anybody.”

Mayweather would return to the ring for the first time since August 2024 when he fought John Gotti III in an exhibition bout.
His most recent professional fight saw him take on Conor McGregor in August 2017.
Pacquiao, meanwhile, returned earlier in 2025 after a four-year hiatus when he drew with Mario Barrios.
A date for the rematch is unclear at this time, with Mayweather set for an exhibition match against Mike Tyson in the spring.
Given their iconic statuses in boxing, a rematch became hugely anticipated but never materialised after their 2015 bout.

Pacquiao hinted that he would fight Mayweather again in 2024 but the pair didn’t meet.
He also said he would only consider a rematch if it was sanctioned as a professional fight.
Which fights have been streamed on Netflix?
Netflix have ventured in live sports streaming in the past couple of years, with boxing one of their biggest attractions.
Jake Paul beat Tyson by unanimous decision in front of 65 million concurrent viewers in November.
Netflix also broadcast the fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford in September, which the latter won.
Over 41 million global viewers tuned in for the bout, which was also the no. 1 event on Netflix in 30 countries.
