Bradford manager Graham Alexander, speaking to BBC West Yorkshire Sport: “It was a game for the centre-halves, wasn’t it? We could have done with 11 of them out there.
“The players deserve immense credit for standing up to that. We had to see through the first 20 minutes, which were a really tough test.
“After that, we found our feet and adjusted to the type of game it was. In the second half, we had some really good chances.
“On another day, we get a 1-0 win or they score off one of their set pieces, which the referee allowed them.
“I said at half-time, ‘If they’re going to try to beat us this way, we’ve got to stand up to it.’ I’m really proud of the team.”
