A new documentary, through the letters of a mother living in Belfast, is to provide a rare glimpse of life in Northern Ireland amid the dangers of the Second World War.
Letters from the Blitz, produced by DoubleBand Films and airing tomorrow on BBC NI, describes the horror as well as the poignant stories of humanity during the Nazi bombardment, which led to hundreds of deaths.
