It’s nearly time for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here to return to our screens for another series of exciting jungle drama.

The ITV show, hosted by the iconic duo of Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, will see a fresh group of famous faces prepare to take on the gruesome Bushtucker trials.

The celebrities will be flying to Australia very soon to swap their life of luxury for jungle camping – but when does it start and who will be taking part this year?

When does I’m A Celebrity start?

I’m A Celebrity is set to start in just a few weeks’ time. The ITV hit show is back for a 25th season, with some incredible campmates in talks to be joining the line-up.

Earlier this week, a special teaser trailer launched with a spooky Halloween inspired twist. On top of a festive scene with stockings hung on the chimney and Christmas cards displayed by the fire, a traditional festive poem was read out.

The narrator said: “Twas the night in October, and all through the house creatures were stirring, and I don’t mean a mouse,” as a spider crept across the scene.

It was teased that the show was three weeks away, meaning that the first episode will air on November 16, the Mirror reports. This lines up with the usual dates for the show, which always finishes a few weeks before Christmas.

A number of celebrities have been rumoured to be joining the show this year, including Emmerdale star Lisa Riley and EastEnders icon Shona McGarty. It has also been reported that boxer Tommy Fury will be entering the jungle.

Another boxer rumoured is Conor Benn, as is Denise van Outen, comedian Ruby Wax, former footballer and TV presenter Alex Scott.

Former England star and football manager, Wayne Rooney, is also a potential campmate, following in the footsteps of his wife, Coleen Rooney, who placed second last year in her jungle debut.

Vogue Williams is another famous face rumoured to be heading on the show, ten years after her husband, former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, was removed from camp after not disclosing to producers that he was taking steroids.

What’s different on I’m A Celebrity this year?Ant and DecITV bosses have hinted at several changes to this season (Image: ITV)

ITV bosses have hinted that there will be some major changes to I’m A Celebrity this year, and it is said that they were inspired by Love Island for the change.

In a series first, ITV bosses will release a ‘first look’ trailer, every afternoon before the show airs, teasing the upcoming events. Similar to Love Island’s short clips, viewers will get a glimpse into what’s in store including a look at the upcoming Bushtucker Trial.

A source claims: “We know how popular the Love Island first look clip is so we wanted to offer something similar for fans of I’m A Celebrity. Camp life can be both dramatic and hilarious and the new I’m A Celebrity first look clip will tease some of those moments ahead of the show airing that night.”

I’m A Celebrity will be fronted by Ant and Dec for the 25th season. With the duo being such firm favourites and having presented it together for over two decades, it wouldn’t be the same without them.

The pair have already filmed I’m A Celebrity All Stars, which is set to air in January next year.

Speaking about the All Stars show, Ant said: “The campmates really brought their A-game to the first series so we can’t wait to be back for more trials, challenges and surprises amongst the beautiful South African landscape.”

Dec added: “Having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series with the viewers choosing their IAC Legend and we’ve heard some of the new trials are truly epic, even by I’m A Celeb… standards!”
