Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn are gearing up for their rematch next month.

After inheriting the family feud from their fathers, the younger Eubank and Benn are running the score back on November 15.

When Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn first fought, the former claimed a win in 1990, but their rematch in 1993 ended in a draw.

Over 30 years since their last fight, they watched their sons go toe-to-toe in front of 60,000 fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Eubank Jr claimed a unanimous decision win over Benn in their inaugural meeting, with all three judges scoring it 116-112 in his favour.

Now they are gearing up to face off for a second time, with Benn out to get his revenge.

Eubank Jr vs Benn: Weight

The rematch will once again be contested at middleweight, which has a limit of 160lbs.

After stepping up two weight classes to action the first fight at Eubank Jr’s natural division, Benn tipped the scales at 156.4lbs.

However, Eubank Jr missed the weight by half an ounce (160.05lbs) in his second attempt.

After narrowly coming in over the official limit, he faced a hefty £375,000 fine.

Eubank Jr vs Benn: Rehydration clause

There is also a 10lbs rehydration limit in place.

The clause is there to ensure that neither fighter can pile on extra weight between the official weigh-in and the fight.

The rehydration clause limits both fighters from weighing over 170lbs on the morning of the fight.

Although Eubank Jr’s promoter, Ben Shalom, believes he should be granted more leeway after being hospitalised with dehydration the first time out.

He told talkSPORT in September: “We aren’t happy with the rehydration clause.

“Chris isn’t committed to that rehydration clause again as of yet, and the initial time it was put in front of us, it was an ultimatum.

“It was the fights not happening unless this [is agreed]. So Chris is in a difficult position then, everything had been agreed. Everything.

“We’d gone through the contract, we’d done every single clause, then we get to the last moment.

“It was, if I remember, maybe just before the press conference and then it landed on us as an ultimatum like that.

“In the end, Chris is a money man, and he accepted the challenge. Is it healthy? Is it right? Should it be banned from boxing? Absolutely.”

Eubank Jr vs Benn: Rounds

The rematch is scheduled for 12 three-minute rounds.

Three judges will be scoring the action via the ten-point must system.
